Checkmate Tournament's Math Night
Program Details:
By popular demand, Checkmate Tournaments has expanded to a math night! This club will involve playing fun games that will build confidence, increase understanding, and improve test scores.
Math Night is designed for boys and girls, ages 6 – 18, and will work on concepts from elementary to high school in a fun and engaging manner. Teachers find that many students struggle to grasp advanced concepts due to a poor understanding of basic operations. During our Math Night we will reinforce and ease the understanding of basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division preparing students for more some of the more advanced concepts that will later be covered by Checkmate Tournaments such as fractions, functions, and equations. Also, yummy and nutritional Subway® sandwiches will be served to feed growing minds.
Is your student stuck on a particular problem? He or she can bring a homework problem to the class for a brief Q & A with the instructor.
When and Where:
Brooklyn Bagel in Green Valley, every Thursday.

From 6 – 9 P.M.
Price:
$20 per night or $60 for four nights.
You can mix-and-match the days your child attends. There is no need to call and reserve a spot, come down whenever is convenient for you.
